About me

I’m a realist, some may say that is a bad thing and it's better to be an optimist, but I have seen and gone through so much in my life and I know how life works. I know the sun will rise tomorrow and there will be enough air, water and food for me and my children to survive. I know the rain will come when it is time. I know every day I get a little older and a little closer to death. I know I have the ability to do much good and the unexplainable resolve I have deep within me to keep going when there is no light to see. I know there is so much more to this universe than what we can see with our eyes or what we can feel with our emotions. I hate injustice and will stand firm and fight for the truth without bending one way or the other, but I will melt in the presence of true love. I know that it rains on both the evil and the righteous of this world and some who do wrong will continue to go unpunished and some who do good will continue to suffer. I am the work of my God whom I love and He is still shaping me every day. I am patient and forgiving. I have a soft heart and a gentle nature and don't like to argue. I'll listen to you. I'll cry with you and laugh with you. When you need a hug, you won't have to ask. When your upset or sad, I'll ask "what's troubling you". When you're angry, I'll understand. When you dare to step out, I'll be right beside you and if you should fall, I'll try my best to catch you. When you're down, I'll come down there with you and we can stand up together. If you're lost in the dark, my light will show you the way. Hold my hand and I will not let go. I will not leave you alone, I will always be with you. I will be your rock and I will lift you up with honor. And when we are old, you will look back at our life together, and you will see that all that I said was true.
