Allowed registration of Ukrainian foreign passports at foreign diplomatic establishments
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a law allowing citizens temporally and permanently living abroad to register foreign passports at diplomatic establishments of Ukraine. The law on amendments to Article four of the law of Ukraine on the procedure for exit and entry to Ukraine for Ukrainian citizens (regarding the procedure for registration of documents for travelling abroad) was approved by the parliament on March 15 and signed on April 1, the press service of the head of state reported. This law allows citizens who permanently or temporarily live abroad to register passports of Ukrainian citizens on exiting the country at foreign diplomatic establishments of Ukraine regardless of the reasons of their residence in foreign countries.
